ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Kenneth A. Anderson, MS Ed., CRC, is a Transition Specialist, Varsity Head Coach, and Adjunct Professor. Ken has his BS in Psychology and Criminal Justice from the University at Albany and his MS in Education with a specialization in Rehabilitation Counseling and Mental Health from Hofstra University. Ken is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) and over the last decade has worked in transition services, vocational services, disability services, education, behavioral health, counseling, and athletics. In his current role as a Transition Specialist for the Long Island Regional Partnership Center (RPC) at Long
Island University (LIU) – Center for Community Inclusion (CCI), Ken educates all stakeholders and creates connections between local communities, families, and school districts to improve post-secondary outcomes for transition-age youth with disabilities.
